Milestones in the life of Dr. Richard Webber
1972 -- Rick graduates the top of his class at Port Charles Medical School, and joins Port Charles General Hospital as an intern. 1974 -- Rick meets and falls
in love with Monica Bard, a medical student at Port Charles Medical School. 1975 -- Rick goes on a medical mission to Africa, where he is captured by rebels in a civil war and presumed dead. 1976 -- Rick is freed and returns to Port Charles, where he discovers former girlfriend Monica has married his brother Jeff. 1977 -- Rick marries Dr. Lesley Williams Faulkner
1979 -- Rick learns his
brother Jeff is actually his half-brother Jeff, the result of an affair between his mother
and Steve Hardy. Rick turns to Monica for comfort. Amy Vining moves in with the Webbers. 1980 -- Rick divorces Lesley and prepares to marry Monica, believing he sired her son. When he discovers the truth, the wedding is off. 1981 -- Rick opens his waterfront clinic. Rick and Lesley remarry. 1982 -- Rick and Lesley grieve when Laura disappears and is presumed dead. Rick and Lesley open the waterfront sports center.
1984 -- Mike's biological mother Ginny Blake returns to town and fights for custody of Mike. Lesley "dies" in a car crash. Rick marries Ginny to give Mike a stable home. Blackie goes to jail for Lou's death. 1986 -- Ginny gives birth to
Rick Webber, Jr. Mike leaves town with his natural father, Derek Barrington. Rick and
Ginny move to New York City. 2002 -- Rick returns to Port Charles, divorced from Ginny. He flirts with Monica, annoys Alan, and is killed by Bob Guza.
